The Image of Green

The Image of Green is a body-space activation that attends to the blurry lines between realities and constructed realities. The work plays with senses and their materialities by combining analogue and digital interventions in an alleyway wedged between concrete walls in a buzzing South Jakarta neighbourhood. The alleyway, having settled its own life and purpose, is imagined to rediscover possibilities to become a vessel for a pause, beyond its current use.

Through live painting on a sheet of glass and an immersive sound walk, The Image of Green offers performative interruptions to both routine and normality that tap into users' awareness.
