Timang
.. kala terang,
ku masuk dalam kenang
masa-masa engkau menimang
dalam balutan kemurnian yang tak’kan usang..
Timang draws from the Indonesian word for cradling, the tender act of holding and, at times, gently rocking something, without trying to fix it in place. It speaks of consciousness, the movement between depth and surface, between control and release. As one dwells within it, a conversation unfolds, and in Timang, the resonance of warm caresses glimmers through shadowed folds of what once was.
